Council considered awarding a bid for removal of dangerous <br />buildings. <br /> <br />Motion was made bv Councilperson Skelton to award the bid for <br />removal of dangerous buildings to Daniels Dump Truck Hauling, <br />in the amount of $5,7QO. Second by Councilperson Shipp. The <br />motion carried, 8 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Waters, Cooper, Matuszak, Porter, <br />Shipp, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />15. Council considered awarding a bid for construction of Little <br />Cedar Bayou southern sanitary sewer trunk main. <br /> <br />Motion was made bv Councilperson Waters to award the bid for <br />construction of Little Cedar Bavou southern sanitary sewer <br />trunk main to McKey Construction, in the amount of the base <br />bid of $149,134. Second by Councilperson Cooper. The motion <br />carried, 8 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Waters, Cooper, Matuszak, Porter, <br />Shipp, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />16. Administrative Reports: <br /> <br />City Manager Bob Herrera called Council's attention to the <br />fact that there will be a workshop on long range planning on <br />May 18. At that time a special meeting will be held to <br />ratify the District 3 recount, give the oath of office and <br />seat the Councilmember. The meeting will convene at 6:00 <br />P.M. <br /> <br />A. Teen Support Group/Citizens Advisory Committee - Acting <br />EMS Director Gary Williams addressed Council regarding an <br />advisory committee recently formed with assistance from <br />Humana Hospital Bay town, for a free counseling service <br />for youth who are having drug- and alcohol-related <br />problems. Ms. Dawn Tarver-Sills of Humana Hospital <br />Bay town explained the program in more detail. Mr. <br />
