~ ~ <br />Minutes, Regular Meeting, La Porte City Council <br />May 23, 1988, Page 5 <br />He asked that Council hold a special meeting on June 6 to <br />discuss the expansion status of Jennie Riley Community Center <br />and to give a status report on the condition of "E" Street <br />infrastructure improvements <br />18. Council Action: Councilpersons Cooper, Matuszak, Porter, <br />Shipp, Gay and Skelton brought items to Council's attention. <br />19. Executive Session: Council adjourned into executive session <br />at 7:x+0 P.M. to discuss with the City Attorney acquisition of <br />sanitary landfill site and to discuss Houston Chemical <br />Services permit application. <br />Council returned to the Council table at 8:25 P.M. Council <br />directed the City Attorney and the City Manager to pursue <br />alternatives to opposing the permit application of Houston <br />Chemical Services and to place an item on the June 6 agenda to <br />appoint a committee to interview environmental attorneys. <br />20.
