<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 1601 <br /> <br />Page 11 <br /> <br />to be unconstitutional or invalid, the general provisions shall <br /> <br />nevertheless stand effective and valid as if the same had been <br /> <br />enacted without such limitation or exceptions. <br /> <br />Section 14. The City Council officially finds, determines, <br /> <br />recites and declares that a sufficient written notice of the date, <br /> <br />hour, place and subject of this meeting of the City Council was <br /> <br />posted at a place convenient to the public at the City Hall of the <br /> <br />City for the time required by law preceding this meeting, as <br /> <br />required by the Open Meetings Law, Article 6252-17, Texas Revised <br /> <br />Civil Statutes Annotated1 and that this meeting has been open to the <br /> <br />public as required by law at all times during which this ordinance <br /> <br />and the subject matter thereof has been discussed, considered and <br /> <br />formally acted upon. The City Council further ratifies, approves <br /> <br />and confirms such written notice and the contents and posting <br /> <br />thereof. <br /> <br />Section 15. This Ordinance shall have no application to <br /> <br />personnel employment services, regulated by Article 522la-7, <br /> <br />Vernon's Annotated Texas Statutes, Revised, or medical or nursing <br /> <br />service agencies. <br /> <br />Section 16. This Ordinance shall be effective from and after <br /> <br />its passage, approval, and publication of its caption, as required <br /> <br />by law, and it is so ordered. Labor Agents in operation in the City <br /> <br />of La Porte on the effective date hereof shall have forty-five (45) <br /> <br />days to comply with the terms hereof. <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED, this 26th day of September, 1988. <br /> <br />CITY OF LA PORTE <br /> <br />BY <br />Norman L.
