Box 1115 <br />PORTE <br />• LA PORTS, TExAS 77571 <br /> <br />Honorable Mayor, Norrnan Malone & City Council <br />City of La Porte <br />Re: Special Conditional Use Permit Request ~~88-013 <br />Dear Mayor Malone & Council: <br />On December 15, 1988, the Planning and Zoning Commission, in <br />public hearing and regular session, considered the City of La <br />Porte's request for a Special Conditional Use Permit to allow the <br />expansion of the Jennie Riley Civic Center. <br />The Commission found this request to meet all prerequisite <br />ordinance requirements necessary for the granting of a <br />Conditional Use Permit. Additionally, six of the surrounding <br />property owners who received notice of public hearing responded <br />in writing. All six respondents favored granting this request. <br />At the close of the public hearing, the Commission, in a <br />unanimous vote, recommended approval of this request.
