Administrative Reports: City Manager Bob Herrera reminded <br />Council of the Workshop meeting to be held April 17. <br /> <br />14. Council Action: Councilpersons Waters, Cooper, Matuszak, <br />Porter, Shipp, Gay, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone brought <br />items to Council's attention. <br /> <br />Councilperson Cooper requested a "fact finding mission" to see <br />if speed limits in residential neighborhoods can be lowered. <br /> <br />Councilperson Matuszak requested that he, City Manager, and <br />representatives from Public Works and Parks and Recreation go <br />look at the brick walls in Fairmont Park and see what can be <br />done. <br /> <br />Councilperson Shipp requested a time be scheduled at a Council <br />meeting to let Mr. Spradling know if and when something will <br />be done about the Fairmont Park brick walls. <br /> <br />Councilperson Gay asked for time with the City Manager to <br />discuss stop signs. <br /> <br />15. Council entered into executive session at 7:20 P.M. to receive <br />a report from the City Manager regarding an amendment to the <br />Landfill agreement and to confer with attorney regarding <br />acquisition of Elizabeth Lane right-of-way. Council returned <br />to the table at 8:56 P.M. <br /> <br />Item 7 was then addressed. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Waters to table item 7 for <br />further study. Second by Councilperson Skelton. The motion <br />carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Waters, Cooper, Matuszak, Porter, Shipp, <br />Gay, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />16. There being no further business to come before the Council, <br />the meeting was duly adjourned at 9:00 P.M. <br />
