Rezoning Ordinance IS01-K <br /> <br />----------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> <br />SUKKARY , RECOKKENDATION <br /> <br />SUMMARY: <br />On August 17, 1989, the Planning & Zoning Commission considered a <br />request by I.C.N. Management Associates to rezone blocks 416; 417; <br />418; La Porte tract from General Commercial to Business Industrial <br />(Rezone Request R89-00S). Staff recommended and the Planning & <br />Zoning commission voted to recommend to the City Council a rezoning <br />to Planned unit Development with an underlying land use designation <br />of Commercial/Industrial. <br /> <br />Council is requested to consider this application in Public Hearing <br />and at the close of the hearing, to consider approval or denial of <br />the I. C. N . request. Approval may be accompl ished by passage of <br />rezoning Ordinance IS01-K which rezones blocks 416; 417; 418; and <br />419 PUD with an underlying land use of commercial/Industrial. <br /> <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Approve rezoning as: <br /> <br />A. Recommended by the Planning & Zoning commission and Staff <br />B. Originally requested by applicants <br /> <br />2. Table request for further consideration at a future date <br /> <br />3. Deny request by defeat of Ordinance IS01-K <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Approve Rezoning Request R89-00S in the form recommended by the <br />Planning & Zoning commission <br /> <br />Action Required by Council: <br /> <br />1.
