<br />Minutes, Public Hearing and Regular Meeting <br />La Porte City Council <br />September 25, 1989, Page 4 <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Waters, Cooper, Matuszak, McLaughlin, <br />Porter, Gay, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br />12. Council considered a consent agenda, as follows: (A) Consider <br />awarding bid for polymer; (B) Consider awarding a bid for <br />reinforced concrete pipe; (C) Consider awarding a bid for <br />concrete golf course paths; (D) Consider awarding a bid for <br />aggregate for surface treatment; (E) Consider awarding a bid <br />for sign material; (F) Consider awarding a bid for PVC pipe <br />and fittings, cast iron fittings, gate valves, and fire <br />hydrants. <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Waters to approve the consent <br />agenda. Second by Councilperson Clarke. The motion carried, <br />9 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Waters, Cooper, Matuszak, McLaughlin, <br />Porter, Gay, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br />13. There were no administrative reports. <br />14. Councilpersons Waters, Cooper, Matuszak, Gay,. Skelton, Clarke <br />and Mayor Malone brought items to Council's attention. <br />15. Council adjourned into executive session at 6:35 P.M. to <br />discuss the following items: (A) Under Section 2(R) - Receive <br />a report from the City Manager on reinvestment zone as a tax <br />abatement program; (B) Under Sections 2(E) and 2(F) - Meet <br />with Attorney to discuss land acquisition. Council returned <br />to the table at 7:35. <br />16.
