Don Skelton and Jerry Clarke as <br />alternate delegates. Second by Deotis Gay. Councilperson <br />Clarke withdrew his name from consideration and asked that <br />Deotis Gay be named in his place. <br /> <br />Councilperson Matuszak amended his motion to reflect Deotis <br />Gay as the other alternate delegate. Second by Councilperson <br />Gay. The motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />Nays: <br /> <br />CouncilpersonsWaters, Cooper, Matuszak, MCLaughlin, <br />Porter, Gay, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone <br />None <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />9. Council considered authorizing entering into Emergency <br />Management Mutual Aid Agreement with the City of Pasadena. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Waters to authorize enterinq <br />into an Emergency Manaqement Mutual Aid Agreement with the <br />city of Pasadena. Second by Councilperson Matuszak. The <br />motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />Councilpersons Waters, Cooper, Matuszak, McLaughlin, <br />Porter, Gay, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone <br />None <br /> <br />Nays: <br /> <br />10. Council considered authorizing entering into a reciprocal fire <br />protection agreement with Texas Air National Guard fire <br />department. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Skelton to authorize entering <br />into a reciprocal fire protection aqreement with Texas Air <br />National Guard fire department. Second by Councilperson <br />Waters. The motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />Nays: <br /> <br />Councilpersons Waters, Cooper, Matuszak, McLaughlin, <br />Porter, Gay, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone <br />None <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />11. Council considered appointing a nominee for the Community <br />Justice Council. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Matuszak to nominate Elinor <br />Tinsley for the community Justice Council. Second by <br />councilperson Porter. Councilperson Skelton moved that the <br />nominations cease. The motion to nominate Elinor Tinsley <br />carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays. <br />
