<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Minutes, Regular Meeting, La Porte city council <br />November 13, 1989, Page 3 <br /> <br />councilperson Cooper left at 6:42 P.M. during the executive <br />session due to another commitment, and did not return to the <br />Council table. Votes on the subsequent agenda items will <br />reflect his absence. <br /> <br />8. Council considered a resolution casting a ballot for election <br />of a member to the Harris County Appraisal District Board of <br />Directors. <br /> <br />Motion was made bv CouncilDerson Skelton to cast the citv's <br />ballot for Lee Tipton. Second by councilperson Porter. The <br />motion carried, 7 ayes and 0 nays, and Mr. Tipton's name will <br />be placed as the City's vote in Resolution 89-17. <br /> <br />Nays: <br /> <br />councilpersons Waters, McLaughlin, Porter, Gay, <br />Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone <br />None <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />9 . Council considered approving a contract with stiver <br />Engineering Services for professional engineering services <br />related to wave pool warranty items. <br /> <br />Motion was made bv Councilperson Skelton to aDDrove the <br />contract with stiver Enqineerinq Services in an amount not to <br />exceed $7.500.00 without further written authorization. <br />Second by Councilperson Clarke. The motion carried, 7 ayes <br />and 0 nays. <br /> <br />Nays: <br /> <br />Councilpersons Waters, McLaughl in, Porter, Gay, <br />Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone <br />None <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />10. Council considered a resolution regarding Little Cedar Bayou <br />Park. <br /> <br />This resolution, 89-18, sets out a proposed plan for the <br />completion of the Little Cedar Bayou Park wave pool contract <br />and warranty items, and authorizes staff to move forward with <br />the implementation of the plan. <br /> <br />Motion was made bv CouncilDerson Waters to aDDrove Resolution <br />89-18. Second by councilperson Gay. The motion carried, 7 <br />ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />Nays: <br /> <br />Councilpersons Waters, McLaughlin, Porter, Gay, <br />Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone <br />None <br /> <br />Ayes: <br />
