<br />Minutes, Special Called <br />La Porte City Council <br />November 20, 1989, Page <br /> <br />Meeting and Workshop Meeting <br />2 <br />The Mayor read: RESOLUTION 89-20 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS, NAMING THE JENNY RILEY <br />COMMUNITY CENTER ANNEX IN HONOR OF CHARLES E. WALKER <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Gay to approve Resolution <br />89-20 as read by the Mayor. Second by Councilperson Clarke. <br />The motion carried, 7 ayes and 0 nays (Councilpersons Cooper <br />and Skelton had not yet arrived). <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Waters, Matuszak, McLaughlin, Porter, <br />Gay, Clarke and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br />4. There being no further business to come before the Council, <br />the called meeting was adjourned and Council went into <br />workshop meeting to discuss with the Visions ' 89 committee the <br />goals and objectives set out by them. <br />5.
