A consent agenda was considered, as follows: (A) Consider <br />awarding a bid for liquid chlorine; (B) Consider awarding a <br />bid for concrete; (C) Consider awarding a bid for bank sand; <br />(D) Consider awarding a bid for stabilized sand; (E) Consider <br />awarding a bid for a pool cover; (F) Consider awarding a bid <br />for police uniforms. <br />Councilperson Matuszak requested item E be removed for <br />discussion; Councilperson McLaughlin requested item F be <br />removed for discussion. <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Gay to approve items A <br />through D of the consent agenda. Second by Councilperson <br />Cooper. The motion carried, 8 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Cooper, Matuszak, McLaughlin, Porter, <br />Gay, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br />After discussion, motion was made by Councilperson Matuszak <br />to approve item E of the consent agenda. Second by <br />Councilperson Cooper. There was no administrative report. <br />11. Councilpersons Clarke, Skelton, Gay, Porter, McLaughlin, <br />Matuszak, Cooper and Mayor Malone brought items to Council's <br />attention. <br />Councilperson Skelton asked that staff look into the liability <br />of masonry mail boxes, especially those close to the street. <br />Councilperson McLaughlin asked that staff look into excessive <br />signs on telephone poles, etc., especially in the Lomax area. <br />Joel Albrecht will look into this. <br />
