Bid requests were mailed to four (4) area suppliers with <br />all four returning bids. <br />Low bid meeting specifications were submitted as follows: <br />Section I - Cut Back Asphalt - Items A-F - Wright Asphalt <br />Section I - Cut Back Asphalt - Items G-L - Gulf States Asphalt <br />Section II- Liquid Asphalt Ceme nt - Trum bull Asphalt <br />Section III-Catalytically Blown Asphalt Joint and Crack Sealer- <br /> Gulf States Asphalt <br />Using yearly estimated quantities, the total contract amounts would be as <br />follows: <br />Section I - Items A-F - $98,615.00 <br />Section I - Items G-L - $22,550.00 <br />Section II - $17,480.00 <br />Section III - $ 9,600.00 <br />Total - $98,245.00 <br />Staff recommends award of the contract for the annual supply of street <br />materials to Wright Asphalt for Section I - Cut Back Asphalt - Items A-F; <br />to Gulf States Materials for Section I, Items G-L and Section III - <br />Catalytically Blown Asphalt Joint and Crack Sealer; and to Trumbull Asphalt <br />for Section II - Liquid Asphalt Cement. <br />Action Required by Council: <br />Award bid for annual supply of street materials as recommended by staff. <br />Availability of Funds: <br />XXX General Fund <br />Capital Improvement <br />Other <br />Water/Wastewater <br />General Revenue Sharing <br />Account Number: Various Accounts Funds Available: XX YES NO <br />Robert T.
