• • <br />Minutes, Public Hearing and Regular Meeting <br />La Porte City Council <br />September 10, 1990, Page 6 <br />The motion carried, 8 ayes, 0 nays, 1 abstain. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Cooper, Matuszak, McLaughlin, Porter, <br />Gay, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br />Abstain: Councilperson Sutherland <br />17. Administrative Reports <br />City Manager Bob Herrera brought to Council's attention that <br />the Salute to Industry banquet will be held September 20. He <br />also reported that notices had been placed at the Green Oaks <br />Apartment complex that as of October 1, 1990, water service <br />would be discontinued at that location. Mr. Herrera <br />reiterated to Council that the City van would be at City Hall <br />at 5:30 A.M. on September 11 to transport those Council <br />members going to Austin for the TWC hearing to the airport. <br />18. Council Action <br />Councilpersons Sutherland, Cooper, Matuszak, McLaughlin, <br />Porter, Gay, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone brought items <br />to Council's attention. <br />19. Council retired into executive session at 8:08 P.M. to address <br />the following item: V.A.T.S. Article 6252-17, Section 2(R) - <br />Conference - Receive report from City Manager on status of RFP <br />on commercial solid waste. Council returned to the table at <br />8:33 P.M. <br />20.
