Furnishing the services of special consultants for other than the <br />normal civil, engineering design incidental thereto, such as <br />consultants for landscaping, architecture, mechanical, <br />electrical, HVAC, structural and plumbing. <br />7. Preparing to serve or serving as a consultant or witness for the <br />City in any litigation, public hearing or other legal or <br />administrative proceeding involving the Project. <br />8. Additional services not otherwise provided for in this agreement. <br />FEE FOR SERVICES <br />The fee for the services described in the Scope of Services shall be the <br />"Not-to-Exceed" amount of $13,800.00. <br />The fee shall be invoiced based on actual labor rate times a multiplier of <br />2.5. <br />Reimbursable expenses will be charged at cost plus 10%. <br />Mileage will be charged at $0.25/mile. <br />Reimbursable expenses will be for the items directly attributed to the <br />project construction administration duties such as: <br />o Reproduction <br />o Photo Copies <br />o Special deliveries, federal express, courier services <br />o Long Distance telephone calls <br />o Film and processing <br />ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br />Additional services will only be performed upon the authorization of the <br />City of La Porte. Additional services will be invoiced utilizing the same <br />multipliers presented in the previous sections. <br />An eight hour minimum will be charged, whenever an appearance is required in <br />court or for depositions to allow for appropriate preparation and adjustment <br />of schedule. <br />It is understood that CMI will qualify for compensation for additional <br />services in the event the Fire Training Facility Project is not completed by <br />the Construction Contractor within the anticipated time schedule. CMI will <br />qualify for compensation for additional services regardless of the City of <br />La Porte's decision to enforce liquidated damages upon the construction <br />contractor. <br />
