Herrera Department: Administration <br />8uhibits: <br />Report X Resolution X Ordinance <br />General Warranty Deed <br />Site Map <br />SIIbII~IARY & RECOMMENDATION <br />The attached Ordinance No. 1750, if adopted by Council, accepts the <br />offer of Fairmont Park Homes Association to donate to the City its <br />swimming pool and 1.284 acre tract of land. Backup correspondence <br />consists of a letter of offer from the Manager of the Association, <br />a General Warranty Deed and a site map. <br />This property, if accepted, will compliment the existing park and <br />will allow the City to offer additional recreational activities. <br />During a recent workshop, staff recommended pursuing the donation <br />of this property and asked that the electrical wiring of the pool <br />facility be brought up to City Code. Fairmont Park Homes <br />Association has asked that the donation exclude the electrical <br />upgrade. Council needs to decide this matter before adopting <br />Ordinance No. 1750. <br />A decision on this matter needs to be made soon.
