Council considered resolution naming representative and <br />alternate representative to the Houston-Galveston Area Council <br />General Assembly/Board of Directors (Res. 91-15). <br /> <br />Council nominated Councilperson Skelton as Representative and <br />Councilperson Porter as Alternate. After discussion, both <br />agreed to accept nomination of the Council. <br /> <br />Motion was made bv Counciloerson Sutherland to approve <br />Resolution 91-15 naminq Counciloerson Skelton as <br />Representative and Counciloerson Porter as Alternate <br />Reoresentative to the Houston-Galveston Area Council General <br />Assembly/Board of Directors. Second by councilperson Cooper. <br />The motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />Councilpersons Sutherland, Cooper, <br />McLaughlin, Porter, Gay, Skelton, Clarke <br />Malone <br />None <br /> <br />Thrower, <br />and Mayor <br /> <br />Nays: <br /> <br />19. Council considered ratifying Change Order #2 for additional <br />reinforcement steel in ceilings of the single and multi-story <br />burn building at the Fire Training Facility. <br /> <br />Assistant City Manager John Joerns led discussion with <br />Council. <br /> <br />Motion was made bv Councilperson Coooer to aoorove Change <br />Order #2 in the amount of $7.461.00. Second by Councilperson <br />McLaughlin.
