• ~ <br />CITY OF LA PORTS <br />INTER-OFFICE MEMORANDUM <br />JUNE 16, 1992 <br />TO: Steve Gillett, Director of Public Works <br />FROM: Susan Kelley, Buyer ~,~g~ <br />SUBJECT: Sealed Bid #0489 - Concrete <br />Advertised, sealed bids #0489 for concrete were opened and <br />read on June 15, 1992. Bid requests were mailed to nine (9) area <br />suppliers with three (3) returning bids and one (1) no bid. <br />Low bid meeting specifications was submitted by Excell <br />Materials, Inc. Using yearly estimates, the total cost of the <br />contract would be $25,187.50. <br />This is a 6$ increase over last year's bid. <br />Please submit your recommendation with an agenda request form <br />by the prescribed time before the next regular council meeting.
