ORDINANCE NO. 915-II <br />AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A PERMIT UNDER SECTION 18-a-3 OF ORDINANCE NO. <br />915, "PIPELINE TRANSPORTATION," BEING CHAPTER 18-A OF THE CODE OF <br />ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS, DATED NOVEMBER 25, 1975, <br />TO CONSTRUCT AN 10-INCH PIPE LINE FOR THE TRANSPORTATION OF <br />HYDROGEN; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAPORTE: <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of La Porte has <br />received an application dated February 4, 1993, from AIR PRODUCTS <br />MANUFACTURING CORPORATION, requesting a permit under Section 18-A-3 <br />of Ordinance 915, being Chapter 18-A of the Code of Ordinances of <br />the City of La Porte, to construct and operate its 10-inch pipe line <br />for the transportation of HYDROGEN, crossing the City of La Porte, <br />all as shown on said application. The application of AIR PRODUCTS <br />MANUFACTURING CORPORATION has been reviewed by the City's Director <br />of Public Works, who has found that said application meets all <br />requirements of said Ordinance No. 915, and has recommended its <br />approval. <br />Section 2. The City Council of the City of La Porte hereby <br />approves the applicaton of AIR PRODUCTS MANUFACTURING CORPORATION, <br />dated February 4, 1993, and this Ordinance shall constitute a permit <br />to AIR PRODUCTS MANUFACTURING CORPORATION to operate said pipe line <br />within the City of La Porte, all in conformance with the <br />requirements of said Ordinance No. 915, contingent upon its filing <br />with the City of La Porte prior to commencement of construction, <br />copies of its permits from the Texas Department of Heghways and <br />Transportation; Harris County; and the Harris County Flood Control <br />District. Any future relocation of the pipeline herein permitted, <br />within the City, State, or County rights -of -way, shall be at the <br />sole expense of permittee. <br />Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect <br />from and after its passage and approval. <br />
