Second by Councilperson Gay. <br />The motion carried, 8 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />Nays: <br /> <br />Councilpersons Sutherland, Cooper, Thrower, Porter, <br />Gay, Maxwell, Clarke and Mayor Malone <br />None <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />16. An administrative report was given to Council by Director of <br />Administrative Services Louis Rigby regarding the annual City <br />Auction to be held Saturday, June 19 at the Public Works <br />Service Center, 2963 North 23rd Street. This is a cooperative <br />auction between city of La Porte and City of Deer Park. The <br />gates will open at 8:00 A.M. and auction will begin at 10:00 <br />A.M. Director of Public Works Steve Gillett reported to <br />Council the recycling site has been moved across the street <br />from Public Works to the Safety Short Production Inc., for the <br />convenience of the citizens. <br /> <br />17. Councilpersons Porter, Gay, Maxwell, Clarke, Sutherland and <br />Mayor Malone brought items to the council's attention. <br /> <br />Council scheduled a workshop meeting with the Planning and <br />Zoning commission and the City Council to be held in the City <br />Council Chambers, Monday, June 21, 1993, at 5:00 P.M. <br /> <br />18. The executive session was held previously with Item 9. <br /> <br />19.
