<br />e e <br /> <br />THE STATE OF TEXAS ) <br />COUNTY OF HARRIS ) <br />CITY OF LA PORTE ) <br /> <br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />In accordance with the provisions of Ordinance 1501, the City <br />of La Porte Zoning Ordinance, notice is hereby given that the La <br />Porte city Council will conduct a public hearing at 6:00 P.M. on <br />the 14th day of June, 1993, in the Council Chambers of the City <br />Hall, 604 West Fairmont Parkway, La Porte, Texas. The purpose of <br />the Public Hearing is to consider the following amendments to the <br />city of La Porte zoning Ordinance #1501: <br />ARTICLE THREE <br />Section 3-100: Delete the existing definition of Portable sign <br />and replace it with a new definition. <br />ARTICLE SIX <br />Section 6-400, <br />Table A. Commercial: Amend Table A by adding Mini-warehouse <br />Storage (SIC 4225) as a Conditional Use in General Commercial <br />Zones. <br /> <br />ARTICLE TEN <br />section 10-1000: Delete the existing section 10-1000 (sign <br />regulations) and replace it with a new section to regulate <br />signage as follows: <br />10-1001: General Regulations: Regulating the following: <br />Compliance with other city ordinances, maintenance <br />requirements, general location criteria and violation <br />clause. <br /> <br />10-1002: <br />Allowable <br />criteria, <br />violation <br /> <br />Portable Signs: Regulating the following: <br />locations by zoning district, permitting <br />anchorage requirements, lighting criteria and <br />clause. <br /> <br />10-1003 : Political Signs: Regulating the following: <br />Location criteria, anchorage requirements and <br />requirements for removal. <br /> <br />10-1004: On Premise Signs (Freestanding and attached to <br />buildings): Regulating the following: Allowable location <br />by zoning district, allowable size, lighting criteria, <br />setback requirements, criteria for determining number of <br />signs allowed for specific locations. <br /> <br />~,~H1BIT C <br />
