<br /> e e <br /> Minutes Regular Meeting <br /> La Porte City council <br /> December 13, 1993, Page 5 <br /> City Attorney read: ORDINANCE 93-1956 - AN ORDINANCE FINDING <br /> AND DETERMINING THAT PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY NO <br /> LONGER REQUIRE THE CONTINUED USE OF CERTAIN DRAINAGE AND/OR <br /> UTILITY EASEMENTS LOCATED IN A FORTY FOOT WIDE STRIP OF LAND <br /> IN HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS, SAID STRIP OF LAND BEING MORE FULLY <br /> DESCRIBED IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE; VACATING AND <br /> ABANDONING SAID EASEMENTS TO HARRIS COUNTY, THE ABUTTING <br /> PROPERTY OWNER, IN CONSIDERATION OF HARRIS COUNTY'S RELOCATING <br /> THE CITY OF LA PORTE'S UTILITY LINES; CONTAINING VARIOUS <br /> FINDINGS AND OTHER PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND <br /> DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br /> Motion was made bv CouncilDerson Sutherland to aDDrove <br /> ordinance 93-1956 as read bv the city Attornev. Consider approving ordinance authorizing the City Manager to <br /> extend a twenty year lease with D.E. Director of Finance Jeff Litchfield reviewed with Council <br /> accounting procedures for this Capitol Improvement Projects. <br />
