MinutesRegular Meeting <br />La Porte City Council <br />September 26, 1994, Page 4 <br />and Spencer Highway. This area is served by a 2" water line. <br />Due to an unforeseen situation the line had to be moved, and <br />a temporary 1" service put in. The City plans to replace this <br />water line with an 8" main for the approximately eight hundred <br />feet. This report is to inform you of the emergency situation. <br />we 'are presenting to you tonight a plan for handling the <br />situation, and staff will come back in two weeks for a <br />ratification of the proceedings necessary to alleviate the <br />emergency. <br />9. Councilpersons Sutherland, Cooper, McLaughlin, Porter, Gay, <br />Maxwell and Mayor Malone brought items to CouncillIs attention. <br />10. Council retired into executive session at 7:18 P.M. under <br />Government Code V.A.T.S. - Chapter 551.071 through 551.076, <br />and 551.084, Section 551.071 - (Legal), discuss with Legal <br />Counsel lawsuit with Houston Chemical Services. Council <br />reconvened the meeting at 7:58 P.M. with no action taken. <br />11.
