CONSIDER DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND APPROVE A PURCHASE OF AN AMBULANCE FROM McCOY-MILLER TO REPLACE A UNIT WHICH WAS WRECKED - J. Sease Chief Joe Sease reviewed the summary and recommendation for the request. Council asked for clarification from Chief Sease and Director of Administrative Services Louis Rigby regarding staff recommendation to purchase from McCoy Miller and what reimbursements the City could anticipate from the Insurance Company representing the party at fault. Motion was made by Councilperson Gay to declare an emergency and approve a purchase of an ambulance from McCoy -Miller Second by Councilperson Cooper. The motion carried, 7 ayes and 0 nays.
