T. <br />Herrera <br /> <br />(There was no Resolution 96-08 presented for a City Council vote. The resolution discussed was to <br />be submitted to Texas Municipal League for their consideration.) <br /> <br />City Manager Robert T. Herrera and Mayor Pro Tem Alton Porter reviewed the summary and <br />recommendation to present a resolution to the Texas Municipal League Resolution Committee on November <br />13, 1996, at the Texas Municipal League Annual Conference. Mayor Pro Tem Porter announced that <br />Councilperson Gay will be assisting by meeting with the committee members on Wednesday to promote <br />the passage of this proposed resolution. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Sutherland to approve submittinlJ: a resolution relJ:ardinl! Gillett <br /> <br />Director of Public Works Steve Gillett reviewed the summary & Recommendation for the request to <br />authorize purchase of vehicles as advertised in sealed bid #0687. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Counciloerson Thrower to authorize the purchase of Items 1 throul!'h 5 to the low <br />bidder meetin~ SPecifications and reiect bids on Item 6 and rebid that item. Second by Councilperson <br />Clarke.
