Motion died for lack of second. <br /> <br />Mayor Malone called for a second vote. <br /> <br />Votes for McLaughlin - Gay, Porter, McLaughlin <br />Votes for Sutherland - Engelken, Maxwell, Clarke, Sutherland <br /> <br />Motion was made by Council person Porter to vote in Favor of Council person Sutherland to <br />serve as Mayor Pro-Tern. Seconded by Council person McLaughlin. <br /> <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Sutherland, Engelken, McLaughlin, Porter, Gay, Maxwell, Clarke and <br />Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />Motion was made by Mayor Malone to vote on the Main Motion to appoint Guy Sutherland as <br />Mayor Pro-Tem. <br /> <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Sutherland, Engelken, McLaughlin, Porter, Gay, Maxwell, Clarke and <br />Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />11. ADMINISTRATIVE REPORTS <br /> <br />City Manager Robert T. Herrera officially congratulated Councilman Engelken on his election <br />"and congratulated the new Mayor Pro-Tern Councilman Sutherland. Mr. Herrera stated he <br />had no other report. <br /> <br />12. COUNCIL ACTION <br /> <br />Councilpersons Sutherland, Engelken, McLaughlin, Porter, Gay, Maxwell, Clarke, Mayor <br />Malone brought items to Council's attention. <br /> <br />13.
