CONSIDER APPROVAL OR OTHER ACTION REGARDING AWARDING BIDS FOR <br />CHEMCIAL AND FERTILIZERS FOR THE GOLF COURSE - D. Hlavaty <br /> <br />Golf Course Superintendent Dennis Hlavaty reviewed the summary and recommendation to <br />award bids to Terra International and Turf Industries ,for chemical and fertilizers to be used at <br />the Golf Course and Parks Maintenance Department. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Council person Clarke to approve bids awarded as recommended by staff. <br />Seconded by Council person McLaughlin. WORKSHOP - RECODIFICATION <br /> <br />REVIEW AND DISCUSS PROPOSED EDITS TO PROPOSED RE-CODIFIED <br />MUNICIPAL CODES - J. Armstrong <br /> <br />Mayor Pro-Tern Guy Sutherland opened the Workshop at 6:35p.m. <br /> <br />Assistant City Attorney John Armstrong reviewed the proposal for re-codified municipal <br />ordinances and answered questions from Council. Mr. Armstrong stated this proof set will be <br />submitted to Municipal Code Corporation. They will typeset and place the codes in final form <br />and return them to the City with an ordinance, at which point and time Council will need to <br />pass and re-codify the ordinances of the City of La Porte. <br /> <br />Mayor Pro-Tem Guy Sutherland closed the Workshop and reopened the Regular Meeting at <br />6:43 p.m. <br /> <br />10.
