<br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Norman L, Malone at 6:00 p,m,

<br />Members of City Council Present: Mayor Norman L, Malone, Councilpersons
<br />Guy Sutherland, Howard Ebow, Bob McLaughlin, Deotis Gay, Jack Maxwell
<br />and Jerry Clarke.

<br />Motion was made by Councilperson Sutherland to ap.,prove the minutes of
<br />August 11. 1997 as presented, Second by Councilperson Maxwell, The motion
<br />carried, 6 ayes, 0 nays, and 1 Abstain.
