CONSIDER APPROVAL OR OTHER ACTION REGARDING A <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, <br />TEXAS, ADOPTING THE 1997 APPRAISAL ROLL OF THE HARRIS <br />COUNTY APPRAISAL DISTRICT (Res. 97-06) -.I. Lit.chfield <br /> <br />Director of Finance! Assistant City Manager Jeff Litchfield reviewed the <br />summary and recommendation for the acceptance of the 1997 Certified Tax Roll <br />showing the total appraised value of $1 ,290,582,870 and a total taxable value of <br />$1,159,299,400. Mr. Litchtield recommended the adoption of Resolution <br />97-06, that adopts the 1997 Appraisal Roll of the Harris County Tax Appraisal <br />District. <br /> <br />City Attorney read: RESOLUTION 97-06 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS, ADOPTING THE 1997 <br />APPRAISAL ROLL OF THE HARRIS COUNTY APPRAISAL DISTRICT. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Councilperson McLaughlin to approve Resolution 97-06 <br />adopting the 1997 Appraisal Roll of the Harris County Appraisal District. <br />Second by Councilperson Clarke.
