<br />The entire alley in Block 117, Town 0 fLa Porte, Harris County, Texas, more specifically
<br />
<br />described by Metes and Bounds as on Exlubit "B" attached hereto~ Provided, however, the City of
<br />
<br />La Porte saves and excepts the area described in E.xhibit "B" as a public utility easement for the
<br />
<br />use and benefit of Houston Lighting & Power, Southwestern Bell, and Entex. Said public utility
<br />
<br />easement shall be further subject to the provisions and restrictions contained in Sections 2, 3, & 4
<br />
<br />of this ordinance.

<br />A pOr1ion of West "E" Street right-of-way, as described by Metes and Bounds on Exhibit "C"
<br />attachled hereto. Provided, however, the City of La Porte saves and excepts the area described in
<br />Exhibi.t "C" as a public utility easement for the use and benefit of the City of La Porte, Houston
<br />Lightillg & Power, Southwestern Bell, and Entex. Said public utility easement shall be further
<br />subject to the provisions and restrictions contained in Sections 2,3, & 4 of this ordinance.

<br />A portiion of West "F" Street right-of~way, as described on Exhibit "0" attached hereto~ Provided,
<br />howev,el', the City of La Porte saves and excepts the North sixteen (16) feet of the area described
<br />in Exhiibit "0" as a public utility easement for the use and benefit of the City of La Porte, Houston
<br />Ligh1iIng & Power, Southwestern Bell, and TCI. Said public utility easement shall be further
<br />subject to the provisions and restrictions contained in Sections 2,3, and 4 of this ordinance.

<br />Section 2. The City of La Porte. for itself, its successors and assigns, and the public utilities holding
<br />franchises from it, shall have the perpetual right, privilege and easement, with appropriate rights of ingress
<br />and egress and J'l=asonable working area for construction and maintenance, to enter upon and construct,
<br />reconstroct, maintain, operate. inspect, replace, restore, repair, and remove public utility facilities, together
<br />with all necessm:y improvements in, over, lUlder, through and across the public utility easements retained
<br />and described in Section 1.

<br />Section 3. No buildings, awnings, overlJangs, or other SbUctures may be placed on, over or across
<br />
<br />the public utility easements retained and described in Section 1. Provided, however, nothing in this
