Ordinance No. 99-2322 <br />2. Professional Services Agreement <br /> <br />SUMMARY & RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />In FY 95-96, City Council approved architect Robert W. McKinney, AlA to complete a needs and spaces analysis <br />for City Hall. The study recommended a remodeling of 14,500 sq. ft. and an expansion of 8,500 sq. ft. <br /> <br />For the past two budget years, the City has set aside $360,000 per year, totaling $720,000 for funding the <br />renovation portion of the project. Additionally, City voters approved another 1.5 million in the City bond <br />election held in January 1999 for the expansion of City Hall. Together, these funds will be used for the expansion <br />and renovation project. <br /> <br />The City requires a Professional Services Agreement with Robert W. McKinney to continue to provide services <br />for design and construction of the City Hall expansion. Staff is recommending Council approve $115,000 for the <br />full architectural services for the City Hall expansion and renovation, plus an estimated $6,000 in reimbursable <br />expenses for a total authorization of $121,000. Bids will be received approximately 8 months after the Notice To <br />Proceed. <br /> <br />Action Required by Council: <br />Approve Ordinance No. 99-2322 authorizing the City Manager to enter into a professional services <br />agreement with Robert W.
