O� L A <br />city <br />rexps <br />September 26, 1994 <br />Mr. Wayne Knox <br />Pipe and Valve <br />11837 Fairmont Parkway <br />LaPorte, TX 77571-6003 <br />of La Porte <br />Estcihllslied 189 <br />Dear Mr. Knox: <br />In response to your letter dated September 22, regarding the extension of Farrington/Lomax <br />School Road, I would like to furnish you the following information: <br />• The project, part of the Comprehensive Plan, is scheduled to be a phased <br />project lasting in. the neighborhood of fifteen years. <br />The ultimate roadway, as called for in preliminary planning, will be a four <br />lane facility divided by a median and will appear much like Farrington Blvd. <br />from Spencer Hwy. to Fairmont Pkwy. As this is designed to be phased, the <br />initial roadway will be two lanes expandable to four lanes at the point in time <br />that traffic would warrant increasing the size. <br />• Phase One kvoL be the co�ectiiin rom the end of Farrington ro <br />Lomax School Road at "Ir Street. _ Our current plans are to seek funding in <br />FY 1996. <br />• Phase Two would be the connection from "P" Street north to S.H. 225. There <br />are no current indications of timing, but probably will not occur. before FY <br />2001. <br />Phase Three would be the widening of the roadway from two lanes to four <br />lanes.
