City Council Minutes 10-08-01— Page 5 <br />CONTAINING SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; FINDING COMPLIANCE WITH THE <br />OPEN MEETINGS LAW; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. <br />Councilperson Clarke made a motion to approve Ordinance 1587-L as presented b <br />Osmond. Second by Councilperson Porter. The motion carried. <br />Ayes: Sutherland, Ebow, Porter, <br />Nays: Engelken <br />Abstain: None <br />13. ADMINISTRATIVE REPORTS <br />Warren, Young, Clarke, and Malone. <br />Assistant City Manager John Joerns reminded Council of the following events: <br />The Redistricting Committee Meetings on October 15 and 29 at 6:30 PM and The <br />Bayshore Sun Open House on October 17 from 5-7 PM. <br />14. Council members Porter, Warren, Ebow, Engelken, Sutherland, Young, Clarke and <br />Mayor Malone brought items to Council's attention. <br />15. CONSIDERATION AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ITEMS CONSIDERED IN <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />There was no action taken. <br />16.
