The resolution declares the intent of the City Council to call for a bond election. City Council held a <br />workshop on September 8, 2001 and agreed to take to voters four projects that would be supported by issuing <br />general obligation debt. The projects are: <br />Building a new Police Headquarters <br />$7.7 million <br />Improvements to City's Wastewater Treatment Plant <br />$3.5 million <br />Development of Westside Park in conjunction with <br />Building a youth baseball complex <br />$3.2 million <br />Fire Department/EMS <br />$1.9 million <br />Total <br />16.3 million <br />Action Required by Council: <br />Approve resolution authorizing publication of notice of intention to call for a bond election. <br />Approved for City Council Agenda <br />("Ri do 1 . of <br />Robert T.
