<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />City Council Minutes 12-10-01- Page 6 <br /> <br />Agreement between the City of La Porte and RCC Consultants, Inc. to perform Phase I of <br />the communications project, including needs assessment, conceptual design and <br />preparation of budgetary cost estimates. <br /> <br />Greg Munchwrath, Vice President of RCC Consultants, provided Council with an <br />overview of Phase I project. <br /> <br />Close Workshop Meeting and reconvene Regular Meeting at 8:27 p.m. <br /> <br />16. Council considered approval or other action regarding an ordinance approving and <br />authorizing an agreement between the City of La Porte and RCC Consultants, Inc. <br />(previously tabled at 9/24/01 meeting). <br /> <br />Director of Emergency Services Joe Sease presented summary and made a <br />recommendation and answered Council's questions. <br /> <br />City Attorney read: ORDINANCE 2001-2516 - CONSIDER APPROVAL OR OTHER <br />ACTION REGARDING AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING AN <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LA PORTE AND RCC CONSULTANTS, <br />INC., TO PERFORM PHASE I OF THE COMMUNICATIONS PROJECT, <br />INCLUDING NEEDS ASSESSSMENT, CONCEPTUAL SYSTEM DESIGN, AND <br />PREPARATION OF BUDGETARY COST ESTIMATES (previously tabled at 9/24/01 <br />. meeting). <br /> <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Young to approve Ordinance 2001-2516 as <br />presented by Mr. Sease. Second by Council person Griffiths. The motion carried. <br /> <br />Ayes: Sutherland, Engelken, Ebow, Griffiths, Porter, Warren, Young, Clarke, and <br />Malone. <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />17. Council considered approval or other action regarding an Ordinance 2001-2529-A <br />amending ballot language of Proposition 3. <br /> <br />Knox Askins presented summary and made a recommendation and answered Council's <br />questions. <br /> <br />City Attorney read: ORDINANCE 2001-2529-A - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AN <br />ORDINANCE ORDERING A BOND ELECTION, FIXING THE TIME, PLACE, AND <br />MANNER FOR HOLDING THE ELECTION, ESTABLISHING POLLING PLACES, <br />AND ORDERING OTHER MA TIERS RELATING THERETO. <br /> <br />Motion was made bv Councilperson Porter to approve Ordinance 200 1-2529-A as <br />presented by Mr. Sease. Second by Councilperson Griffiths. The motion carried. <br /> <br />Ayes: Sutherland, Engelken, Ebow, Griffiths, Porter, Warren, Young, Clarke, and <br />Malone. <br />Nays: None <br />
