Consent Agenda <br />Council considered a consent agenda as follows: <br />Award bid for furnishing garbage bags to Dyna-Pak. <br />• <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Engelken to approve Consent Agenda. Second by <br />Councilperson Griffiths. The motion carried. <br />Ayes: Mosteit, Engelken, Griffiths, Warren, Young, Meismer, Ebow, Porter and Malone <br />Nays: None <br />Abstain: None <br />15. Workshop was called order by Mayor Norman Malone at 6:55 p.m. <br />The following items were discussed during the Workshop session: <br />City Manager Robert Herrera and City Secretary Martha Gillett discussed the proposed <br />redistricting map. <br />16. Closed Workshop and reconvened Regular Meeting at 7:25 p.m. <br />17. Administrative Reports <br />City Manager Robert Herrera reminded Council of the Memorial Day holiday on May 27, <br />2002, the Run-off Election on June 1, 2002, and the Regular City Council Meetings on <br />June 10, 2002 and June 24, 2002. <br />18. Council Comments <br />Councilpersons Mosteit, Engelken, Griffiths, Porter, Warren, Young, Ebow, Meismer and <br />Mayor Malone brought items to Council's attention. <br />19. EXECUTIVE SESSION -PURSUANT TO PROVISION OF THE OPEN <br />MEETINGS LAW, CHAPTER 551.071 THROUGH 551.076, AND 551.084, TEXAS <br />GOVERNMENT CODE, - (CONSULTATION WITH ATTORNEY, <br />DELIBERATION REGARDING REAL PROPERTY, DELIBERATION <br />REGARDING PROSPECTIVE GIFT OR DONATION, PERSONNEL MATTERS, <br />CONFERENCE WITH EMPLOYEES DELIBERATION REGARDING <br />SECURITY DEVICES, OR EXCLUDING A WITNESS DURING EXAMINATION <br />OF ANOTHER WITNESS IN AN INVESTIGATION) <br />There was not an Executive Session. <br />20. Adjournment <br />There being no further business to come before Council, the Special Called Regular <br />Meeting was duly adjourned at 7:35 p.m. <br />
