Call to Order The meeting was called to order by Mayor Norman Malone at 6:00 p.m. Members of City Council Present: Councilmembers Chuck Engelken, Howard Ebow, Barry Beasley, James Warren, Charlie Young, Mike Mosteit, Bruce Meismer and Norman Malone Members of Council Absent: Peter Griffiths Members of City Executive Staff and City Emplovees Present: City Manager Robert T. Herrera, Assistant City Attorney John Armstrong, City Secretary Martha Gillett, Director of Public Works Steve Gillett, Assistant City Secretary Sharon Harris, Director of Planning Doug Kneupper, Fire Chief Mike Boaze, Assistant Fire Chief Champ Dunham, Human Resources Manager Lorie Doughty, Golf Course Superintendent Dennis Hlavaty, City Planner Gwen Goodwin, Director of Finance Cynthia Alexander, Police Chief Richard Reff, Dispatcher II Rusty Shepherd, Fire Engineer Billy Dalmolin, Assistant Director of Finance Michael Dolby, Director of Administrative Services Carol Buttler, Planning Coordinator Masood Malik, Director of Purchasing Susan Kelley, Director of Parks and Recreation Stephen Barr and Director of Emergency Services Joe Sease. Councilmember James Warren delivered the invocation. 3. Mayor Norman Malone led in the Pledge of Allegiance. 4. Council considered approving the Minutes of the Regular Meeting, Public Hearing and Workshop Meeting on June 10,2002. Motion was made by Councilmember Warren to approve the Minutes of the Rel!U1ar Meeting. Public Hearing and Workshop Meeting on June 10.2002. Second by Counci1member Beasley. The motion carried. Ayes: Engelken, Warren, Young, Mosteit, Meismer, Ebow, Beasley and Malone Nays: None Abstain: None 5. PROCLAMATIONS/PRESENTATIONS Fire Chief Mike Boaze and Assistant Fire Chief Champ Dunham recognized Fire Engineer Bill Dalmolin as Employee of the 1 st Quarter of 2002. Police Chief Richard Reff recognized Retiree Dispatcher II Rusty Shepherd for his 20 years of service with the City.
