<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />THE STATE OF TEXAS) <br />COUNTY OF HARRIS ) <br />CITY OF LA PORTE) <br /> <br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of La Porte' <br />will hold a Public Hearing on the 9th day of September 2002, in the Council <br />Chambers of the City Hall, 604 West Fairmont Parkway, La Porte, Texas, <br />beginning at 6:00 P.M. The purpose of this hearing is to provide citizens the <br />opportunity to comment on the overall budget. <br /> <br />The City of La Porte, must, by Charter requirement, adopt its fiscal <br />budget by September 30, 2002. Within thirty days thereafter, copies of the <br />adopted budget will be available for public inspection and copying at the <br />office of the City Secretary, City Hall, 604 West Fairmont Parkway, La <br />Porte, Texas, and the La Porte Community Library, 600 South Broadway, La <br />Porte, Texas, during normal business hours. <br /> <br />CITY OF LA PORTE <br /> <br />Martha A.
