<br />1. CALL TO ORDER
<br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Norman Malone at 6:00 p.m.
<br />Members of City Council Present: Councilmembers Mike Mosteit, Peter Griffiths, Chuck
<br />Engelken, Bruce Meismer, James Wan en, Charlie Young, Barry Beasley and Norman
<br />Malone

<br />2. Reverend Oliver Stillwell of First Assembly of God of La Porte delivered the invocation.
<br />3. -Mayor Malone led the Pledge of Allegiance.
<br />4. Council considered approving the Minutes of the Regular Meeting and Public Hearing of La
<br />Porte City Council held on January 13, 2003.
<br />Motion was made by Councilmember Warren to approve the minutes of the Regular
<br />Meeting and Public Hearing held on January 13, 2003. Second by Councilmember
<br />Engelken. The motion carried.

<br />5. PRESENTATIONS
<br />A. Bill White of American Legion Boys and Girls State introduced La Porte High School
<br />Administrator Sandra Dwyer. Ms. Dwyer recognized the female students whom
<br />participated in Bluebonnet Girls State (Keri Frobenius, Katie Lott, Monica Longoria and
<br />Lyzette Rios) and the male students whom participated in Texas Boys State (Jonathan
