<br />City Council Meeting - May 19, 2003 Page 3 <br /> <br />F. Police Chief Richard Reffprovided a report and discussed Chapter 70 of the Code of <br />Ordinances, adding Article VIII, "Parking of Vehicles for Sale in Unauthorized <br />Locations Prohibited". <br /> <br />Council provided Staff direction to move forward and place the item on future <br />agenda for adoption. City Council suggested Staff enforce very aggressively. <br /> <br />6. The Special Called Workshop Meeting was adjourned at 8:22 p.m. <br /> <br />7. ADMINISTRATIVE REPORTS <br /> <br />City Manager Debra Feazelle reminded Council of Monday, May 26,2003, Memorial Day <br />Holiday, and the next City Council Meeting to be held on Monday, June 9, 2003. Ms. <br />Feazelle informed Council of a library complaint concerning students. There was agreement <br />in having a committee study the consensus of the Bayport issue. <br /> <br />8. COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Councilmembers Griffiths, Ebow, Engelken, Mosteit, Meismer, Young, Warren and Mayor <br />had comments <br /> <br />9. EXECUTIVE SESSION - PURSUANT TO PROVISION OF THE OPEN <br />MEETINGS LAW, CHAPTER 551.071 THROUGH 551.076, 551.086, TEXAS <br />GOVERNMENT CODE, (CONSULTATION WITH ATTORNEY, DELIBERATION <br />REGARDING REAL PROPERTY, DELIBERATION REGARDING PROSPECTIVE <br />GIFT OR DONATION, PERSONNEL MATTERS, DELIBERATION REGARDING <br />SECURITY DEVICES, OR EXCLUDING A WITNESS DURING EXAMINATION <br />OF ANOTHER WITNESS IN AN INVESTIGATION, DELIBERATION <br />REGARDING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT NEGOTIATIONS). <br /> <br />Council retired into Executive Session at 8:42 p.m. <br /> <br />Council reconvened the Council Meeting at 9:49 p.m. <br /> <br />10. CONSIDERATIONS AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ITEMS CONSIDERED IN <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> <br />There was no action taken during Executive Session. <br /> <br />11.
