Joe Edwards — 734 Regency South Court — Houston, Texas 77036 — spoke in opposition of the C- 3 codes. Toy Wood — Greater Houston Builders Association — 9511 W. Sam Houston Parkway North — Houston, Texas 77064 — spoke in favor of the International Codes. Stanley Briars — 219 Whispering Oak, Taylor Lake Village, Texas — recommends adoption of C-3 Codes. Mr. Briars noted he sent Mayor and Council a letter expressing his belief that homeowners will have better quality work on their home with the C-3 Codes. Nancy McNabb — 9517 Goodfellow — Dallas, Texas 75229 — spoke in favor of the C-3 Codes. This code raises safety measures. 7. PUBLIC HEARING — DISCUSS JUVENILE CURFEW ORDINANCE Public Hearing was opened at 6:44 p.m. Police Chief Richard Reff gave a review and informed City Council this ordinance must be reviewed on an annual basis. Staff recommended City Council approve the Ordinance for an additional year, as written, with no changes at this time. Public Hearing was closed at 6:50 p.m. 8. Council to consider approval or other action regarding continuing the juvenile curfew ordinance as written, abolishing the juvenile curfew ordinance or modifying juvenile curfew ordinance. Chief Reff presented the summary and recommendation and answered Council's questions. It was the consensus of the Council to keep the Ordinance in place, as currently adopted. ITEM NUMBERS 9,10 AND 11 WERE DISCUSSED AND VOTED ON SIMULTANEOUSLY BY COUNCIL Motion was made by Councilmember Griffiths to vote on items 9. 10 and 11 simultaneously as presented by Ms. Goodwin. Second by Councilmember Engelken. The motion carried. Assistant City Attorney John Armstrong read captions for Items 9, 10 and 11. 9.
