<br />1. CALL TO ORDER
<br />
<br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Norman Malone at 6:00 p.m.
<br />
<br />Members of City Council Present: Councilmembers Peter Griffiths, Howard Ebow, Bruce
<br />Meismer, James Warren, Charlie Young, Mike Mosteit, Barry Beasley and Norman Malone
<br />
<br />Councilmember Chuck Engelken arrived at 6:25 p.m.
<br />
<br />Members of Council Absent: None
<br />
<br />Members of City Executive Staff and City Emolovees Present: City Manager Debra Feazelle,
<br />Assistant City Manager John Joerns, City Manager's Administrative Assistant Crystal Scott,

<br />2. Councilmember Ebow delivered the invocation.

<br />3. Mayor Malone led the Pledge of Allegiance.

<br />4. PRESENTATIONS/PROCLAMATIONS
<br />
<br />Mayor Malone presented Cheryl Thomas, a member of the Board of Trustees, Texas Gulf Coast
<br />Chapter, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, a proclamation for the Leukemia & Lymphoma
<br />Awareness Month.
<br />
<br />Mayor Malone presented Brandon James Weaver, a student from La Porte Junior High School,
<br />with a "Brandon James Weaver Day" proClamation. Joining Brandon were Beth Rickert, Susan
<br />Hoots and Principal David Pirtle.
<br />
<br />Mayor Malone presented Clark Askins With a Certificate of Appreciation for his devoted and
<br />invaluable service rendered to the City of La Porte.
