Assistant City Attorney John Armstrong read: ORDINANCE 1501-GGG and R-03-007 - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LA PORTS, CHAPTER 106, MORE COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LA PORTS, BY CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF THAT CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND HEREIN DESCRIBED; MAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS OF FACT RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; FINDING COMPLIANCE WITH THE OPEN MEETINGS LAW; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. Motion was made by Councilmember Beasley to approve Ordinance 1501-GGG and R-03-007 as presented by Mr. Finan. Second by Councilmember Engelken. The motion carried.
