Rick Anschutz, IAPMO Director <br />0 <br />Rick Anschutz -Director <br />Having a jurisdiction confined to inside the walls of San <br />Quentin Prison, Rick has to inspect all the plumbing <br />installed or repaired by the students enrolled in the <br />vocational plumbing program. He also works with the <br />advanced students and allows them to make <br />inspections. <br />Rick started working in 1973 as a utility plumber working <br />mostly underground -construction. In 1977, he became a <br />member of the iJA' Local tk1594nd soon had his building <br />trades joumeyman card. He and his brother Kelly are <br />both third generation members of the local. <br />Shortly after starting the job at San Quentin in 1987, Rick joined IAPMO and has <br />attended 13 of the last 14 conferences. He has served on the Education Committee <br />and the Code Changes Committee and has been an instructor for some of the <br />seminars held at Conference. <br />Rick enjoys spending time with his two children, Cristy and RJ.
