Dan Daniels, IAPMO Director <br />r1 <br />Dan Daniels -Director <br />Dan Daniels, IAPMO's newly elected director for the <br />Central District, will be serving a three-year term on the <br />Board. Dan hails from Colorado and has spent his <br />career in the plumbing industry in an around Pueblo, <br />Colorado, first as an apprentice with th�WcEa 2.0 --back in <br />the seventies. Upon completion of his apprenticeship, <br />Dan took on a variety of plumbing jobs, gaining a wide <br />variety of experiences and a solid understanding of the <br />diverse demands of the field. During this time, Dan <br />earned his Colorado Journeyman Plumbers License <br />and,_. a_ Jew -years -later, -went on to obtain his C radoD <br />Fmiaer`Plumbers.Licensq; <br />In 1991, Dan was offered an inspector's position with Pueblo's Regional Building <br />Department. Dan's supervisors recognized the quality of his work and In 1999, <br />made him the chief plumbing inspector for the city. <br />A member of UA Local 20 for many years, Dan is also a member of the American <br />Backflow Prevention Association and the American Water Works Association. He <br />currently serves on IAPMO's Education Committee. In conjunction with Phil <br />Campbell, Dan presented the Uniform Plumbing Code Seminar to the membership <br />at this year's conference in Denver. <br />Dan and his wife, Sharon, have three children, Lona and Kenny, who are now <br />grown, and Tyler, who is 14 years old. They enjoy their four grandchildren, who <br />range in age from seven months to six years of age. Dan volunteers his time as a <br />high school and college football official. He is currently serving as the <br />secretary/assignor for the Pueblo Football Officials Association.
