<br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Pro Tem Peter Griffiths at 6:00 p.m.

<br />3. Mayor Pro Tem Griffiths led the Pledge of Allegiance.
<br />4. PRESENTATIONS/PROCLAMATIONS
<br />A. Mayor Pro Tem Griffiths presented the Public Service Recognition Week Proclamation to the City of La
<br />Porte's Special Events Committee City employees, Public Works' Gina Ford, the Police Department's
<br />Wanda Richards, Finance's Rose Hall, Human Resources' Nicole Hatter, Planning's Rene Ibarra in honor
<br />of all City employees.
<br />B. Mayor Pro Tem Griffiths presented the Chatos with a "La Porte High School Chatos Day" Proclamation.
<br />5. CONSENT AGENDA
<br />A. Council to consider approval of the City Council Regular Meeting and Workshop Meeting
<br />Minutes held on April 12, 2004.
<br />B. Council to consider awarding a bid for additional funds of $38,243.00 from the Motor Pool Fund in
<br />addition to $111,737.00 available.
<br />C. Council to consider approval of a contract with Civil Tech Engineering Inc. for an amount not to exceed
<br />$37,749.00 to facilitate design.
