<br />6. Neither party nor its officers nor employees rendering aid pursuant to this agreement shall be liable on <br />account of any act or omission in good faith on the part of such party so engaged, or on account of the <br />maintenance or use of any equipment or supplies in connection therewith. <br /> <br />7. Neither party to this agreement shall be liable for its failure or refusal to render aid pursuant to this <br />agreement. Furthermore, both parties retain the right to withdraw any and all aid rendered upon direction <br />of their respective designees. <br /> <br />8. La Porte, through its designee, in conjunction with PPG representatives, shall in their sole discretion <br />determine the manner which emergency aid may be used. <br /> <br />9. This agreement shall continue in force and remain binding on each party until either party takes action to <br />withdrawal therefrom.
