Close Regular Meeting and Open Workshop at 7:30p.m. <br /> <br />A. Council discussed polling locations for May 7, 2008 General Election. <br /> <br />Council directed staff to move forward with using City Hall as a polling location <br />during General and Run-Off elections for districts 4 and 5 and use Baker Sixth <br />Grade Campus for General and Run-Off Elections for districts 1,2,3 and 6. <br /> <br />B. Council considered recommendations from the Board on code adoption and <br />provide staff with direction on adoption and implementation of the 2006 Code <br />Editions. <br /> <br />Staff will move forward and bring the back to Council for formal <br />recommendation. <br /> <br />C. Discussed amending the Regulation of Sex Offender Residency. <br /> <br />Staff was directed to move forward with Draft 2 and use the word recommended <br />rather than the word duty to pass out the notice.. <br /> <br />18. Closed the Workshop at 8:10 p.m. <br /> <br />19. Administrative Reports <br /> <br />City Manager Ron Bottoms provided Council with the following Administrative Reports: <br />Upcoming TML Conference from November 7th through the 13th in Dallas, Texas. The <br />Coffee Symposium to be held on November 13,2007 at Hilton Americas- 1800 Lamar, in <br />
