Council to consider approval or other action regarding Ordinance 1501B6 (SCU-07-010) <br /> <br />Assistant City Attorney Clark Askins read: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE <br />CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, CHAPTER 106, MORE <br />COMMMONL Y REFERRED TO AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY <br />OF LA PORTE, BY GRANTING A SPECIAL CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT #SCU- <br />07-010 FOR 6.4377 ACRE TRACT OWNED BY ST. MARY'S CHURCH AND <br />LOCATED AT 816 PARK DRIVE, LEGALLY DESCRIBED AS LOTS 1-21 & 24-28, <br />BLOCK 33, LOTS 2-16 & 27-28, BLOCK 34, LOTS 1-8, BLOCK 35, LOTS 1-29, <br />BLOCK 36, LOTS 6-28, BLOCK 37, BEACH PARK SUBDIVISION, JOHNSON <br />HUNTER SURVEY, ABSTRACT 35, FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEVELOPING A <br />MULTI-PURPOSE HALL IN A LOW-DENSITY RESIDENTIAL (R-l) ZONE; <br />MAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS OF FACT RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; FINDING <br />COMPLIANCE WITH THE OPEN MEETINGS LAW; AND PROVIDING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF; <br /> <br />Motion was made by Councilmember Clausen to Approve Ordinance 1501B6 #SCU-07- <br />010 as recommended by Planning & Zoning Commission for the purpose of developing <br />a multi-purpose hall to be located at 816 Park Drive.
