<br />Motion was made by Councilmember Ebow to approve the Ordinance as presented by Mr. <br />Joerns. Second by Councilmember Engelken. Council to consider approval or other action of setting public hearing dates for the <br />proposed Heller annexation for March 24th and April 7th. April 7th, 2008 will be a special <br />called Council Meeting. <br /> <br />City Manager Ron Bottoms presented summary and recommendation and answered <br />Council's questions. <br /> <br />Motion was made be Councilmember Clausen to approve the aQreement as presented by <br />Mr. Bottoms. Second by Councilmember Beasley. Received reports from La Porte Development Board Corporation, Fiscal Affairs Committee, <br />and Drainage and Flooding Committee. <br /> <br />Fiscal Affairs Chairperson Chuck Engelken provided the report during the presentation on <br />item 4E. <br /> <br />Committee member Chuck Engelken provided a report on the 4B Development <br />Corporation meeting. <br /> <br />Chairperson Mosteit provided a report to Council on the Drainage Committee. <br /> <br />Mayor Pro-Tem Rigby continued item 6 and allowed comments from Mr. Seng regarding <br />the development at Driftwood and Fairmont Parkway. <br /> <br />12. Mayor Pro-Tem Rigby closed Regular Meeting and opened Workshop Meeting at 7:17p.m. <br /> <br />City Secretary Martha Gillett discussed May 10, 2008 Election and informed Council that <br />San Jacinto College did not want to participate in the Joint Election with the City of La <br />Porte and La Porte Independent School District. <br /> <br />Assistant City Manager presented a report on State Highway 146 grade separation. <br />
