Lobit addressed the Council regarding concerns with the RFQ for the project at Sylvan Beach. 7. Council to consider approval or other action to authorize City Manager to approve an Ordinance approving Service and Assessment Plan for Lakes at Fairmont Greens Improvement District (Ord. 3067) - G. Larson Economic Development Coordinator Gretchen Larson presented summary and recommendation and answered council's questions. Assistant City Attorney Clark Askins read Ordinance 3067 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF LA PORTE, TEXAS APPROVING THE SERVICE AND ASSESSMENT PLAN FOR THE CITY OF LA PORTE LAKES AT F AIRMONT GREENS PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT; FINDING COMPLIANCE WITH THE OPEN MEETINGS LAW; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Motion was made by Councilmember Enqelken to approve the recommendation as presented by Ms. Larson. Second by Councilmember Mosteit. The motion carried.
